Job summary

AIKEN HIGH SCHOOL in Aiken, SC seeks a JV Girls Soccer Head Coach for the 2026-2027 season. You will lead the girls soccer program, plan regular practices, and ensure safety and compliance while fostering discipline and sportsmanship among student-athletes.

Responsibilities include developing game strategies, maintaining records, and coordinating with the athletic director and community stakeholders to promote the program.

Qualifications

• Language skills: ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, speak before groups.
• Mathematical skills: ability to calculate figures, percentages, areas and geometry.
• Reasoning ability: apply common sense to instructions, analyze information and solve problems.
• Other skills and abilities: establish relationships with students, staff and community, clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coaches individuals in skills necessary for excellence in the sport.
• Plans and schedules regular practice programs during the season.
• Oversees safety conditions of the facility when students are present.
• Maintains accurate statistics, records, and results of the season.
• Enforces discipline and sportsmanship and sets standards for eligibility.
• Develops positive public communications about the athletic program.
