Qualifications

• Must meet district/state coaching certification requirements (CPR/First Aid, ethics training, background check, concussion training).
• At least 1 year of relevant coaching/playing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct regular practices and games.
• Teach fundamental basketball skills, strategies, and rules appropriate to high school athletes.
• Model and instill teamwork, respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship.
• Supervise athletes at all team-related events, including practices, games, and travel.
• Communicate with players, parents, athletic director, and school administration.
• Ensure all players meet eligibility and academic requirements.
