The Episcopal Academy seeks a Junior Varsity Dance Coach to lead its JV Dance Team and support the Upper School Dance Program. You will help dancers build technique, confidence, performance skills, and teamwork, working with the Head Dance Coach and the Theatre Department Chair.

You will choreograph pieces for performances, teach varied styles, design engaging practices, and partner with the Head Coach to align JV and Varsity expectations while prioritizing safety and inclusion.

Qualifikationen

• Passion for coaching Upper School students.
• Experience teaching or coaching dance with varied experience levels.
• Ability to design age-appropriate practices balancing skill development, conditioning, choreography, and team building.
• Collaborative, organized, and dependable communication with families and colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Plan and lead JV Dance Team practices and rehearsals, teaching foundational and intermediate technique.
• Develop dancers' strength, flexibility, coordination, musicality, performance quality, and ensemble awareness.
• Choreograph select pieces for performances and school events with the Head Dance Coach.
• Coordinate with Head Dance Coach to align JV and Varsity goals and expectations.
