Job summary

Illinois School District U-46 is seeking a High School Assistant Coach to assist with organizing the athletic program, conducting practices, and motivating student athletes. Responsibilities include developing game and practice schedules, maintaining effective communication with all participants, and ensuring the safety of all athletes.

The successful candidate will have a valid Illinois Teaching certificate and required coaching certifications. This position offers annual review and may be renewed based on satisfactory performance.

Qualifications

• Proper certification with American Sport Education Program.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
• Knowledgeable in techniques and strategies for sports.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with organizing practices and game strategies.
• Supervise athletes and maintain safety during practices.
• Maintain communication with athletes, administration, and community.
