John Stark Regional High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Varsity Boys Lacrosse Head Coach for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for lacrosse, a commitment to student‑athlete development, and the ability to foster a positive, competitive, and inclusive team culture.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with school staff and boosters to promote sportsmanship and growth among players.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build relationships with student‑athletes, families, and staff.
• Commitment to creating a supportive and spirited athletic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop lacrosse players both on and off the field.
• Plan, organize, and execute practices, game strategies, and team meetings.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student‑athletes.
• Collaborate effectively with assistant coaches, athletic staff, school administration and team boosters.
• Represent the lacrosse program positively within the school and broader community.
