Madison Elementary School District #38's Madison Traditional Academy in Phoenix seeks an Athletic Coach for JV Boys Basketball. Under the Athletic Director, you will coach, supervise practices and games, coordinate transportation, and help implement district sports policies.

The role is part-time; candidates must meet certification requirements, possess fingerprint clearance, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills to develop players and maintain safe sports programs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain required clearances.
• Arizona Teaching Certificate preferred; alternative credentials considered.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Willingness to attend practices and games as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Implement components of the school site interscholastic sports program.
• Coach and supervise students during practices and games.
• Assist with arranging team games, schedules, and transportation.
• Plan and coordinate training workouts and athlete development.
• Maintain equipment inventory and ensure safety rules are followed.
