Billerica Public Schools’ Billerica Memorial High School in Massachusetts is seeking a JV Boys Basketball Coach to guide and mentor student-athletes through the season, focusing on safety, skill development, and progress.

The assistant coach will help plan workouts, organize practices, and monitor academic progress, reporting to the Head Coach, Athletic Director and Principal. A stipend is provided under the teachers' contract and coaching certifications are required.

Qualifications

• MIAA Coaches Certification required.
• Prior playing and coaching experience preferred.
• Coaching experience at the high school level is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and implement workouts and practices.
• Monitor and support student-athletes' academic progress.
• Communicate with Head Coach, Athletic Director and Principal.
• Maintain good relations with parents, officials, volunteers and fans.
• Coordinate with booster program and adhere to district policies.
• Communicate with athletic trainer regarding injuries and playing status.
