Job summary

The Community Church & Virginia Academy is seeking an Assistant Coach - JV Baseball to join our athletics program in Loudoun County. This role collaborates with the Athletic Director, coaches, and teachers to foster student growth, faith-based values, and athletic development from practice to competition.

The ideal candidate combines a heart for ministry with coaching expertise, two years of HS coaching, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Be a genuine believer and active follower of Christ.
• CPR/First Aid and/or MAT Certified.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred.
• 2 years of High School Coaching experience.
• Experience as a student/athlete in the sport.
• Experience in a church-run school is desired.

Responsibilities

• Uphold mission, vision, and values of Community Church.
• Plan and execute practice plans with Head Coach.
• Provide feedback and opportunities for growth for players.
• Communicate regularly with parents and maintain team communications.
• Collaborate with teachers to meet student needs.
• Attend orientation and faculty meetings for development.
• Assist with equipment, uniforms, and inventory.
