Job summary

King County Superior Court is seeking a full-time Juvenile Probation Counselor Supervisor to oversee professional and support staff delivering probation services to youths and families. The role emphasizes coordination, quality assurance for PACT and CMAP, and collaboration with courts and community agencies.

The position includes a hybrid work arrangement, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule, and requires a strong background in counseling and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human or social services with four years of relevant counseling experience.
• Master’s degree and supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMAP, PACT and motivational interviewing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional counselors and support staff.
• Coordinate daily operations and caseload management.
• Lead change and implement new processes with team collaboration.
• Assist counselors with complex cases as a resource.
• Act as Quality Assurance for PACT and CMAP.
• Develop and oversee procedures for unit operations.
• Coordinate and monitor treatment contracts.
• Maintain liaison with courts, law enforcement, schools and community agencies.
• Provide orientation and training to staff.
• Analyze data and prepare complex reports.
• Contribute to departmental policy decisions.
• Develop and supervise special projects.
• Participate in Supervisors meetings.
