Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 18 credits in behavioral or social science.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for employment purposes.
• Knowledge of investigations, supervision, and reporting in community corrections.

Responsibilities

• Supervise offenders through office and community contacts, including families and schools.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and counseling to offenders under supervision.
• Assess risk and needs using established tools and develop SMART case plans.
• Enforce compliance, document contacts, and prepare timely reports.
• Represent the department in Juvenile Court and coordinate referrals.
