Job summary

Mcjcohio is seeking a qualified professional to investigate, counsel, and supervise juvenile offenders referred by the Court. The role develops and implements individual case plans, monitors progress, and maintains detailed documentation for court review.

You will attend court hearings, prepare dispositional and renewal reports, and coordinate with families and service providers to ensure compliance and safety. Travel may be required; after-hours emergencies are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, social work or related field; 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three days.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, supervises & counsels juvenile offenders to ensure compliance with Court ordered probation terms.
• Develops and implements individual case plans and uses evidence-based practices.
• Keeps Court informed of progress through written reports and appearances.
• Intervenes in crisis situations and coordinates with youth and family.
• Occasionally travels out of state and responds to emergencies after hours.
