Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in care, custody, activities, or personal guidance of adolescents or adults in a human services or related program; or
• One year as a Juvenile Justice Specialist or one year of related care experience with an Associate degree in a related field; or
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Safety Oversight: monitor residents and staff to maintain a secure environment
• Daily Guidance: direct residents during hygiene, meals, recreation, and treatment activities
• Behavior Support: model positive values and provide direction for responsible decisions
• Staff Supervision: train, observe, and guide subordinate employees to improve care
• Incident Response: intervene in emergencies, resolve complaints, and address disciplinary concerns
• Communication Duties: share updates on resident behavior and environmental conditions
