Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Wyoming POST Certification required.
• Valid driver's license; maintain physical fitness to department standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, mentoring and role modeling for youth.
• Lead youth through disciplinary actions and set standards.
• Explain agency rules and procedures to new residents.
• Perform crisis intervention with safety for youth, staff and property.
• Coordinate daily activities and encourage program participation.
• Assist educational staff to help youth complete assignments.
• Coordinate access to services supporting emotional stability.
• Maintain security and surveillance of youth in residential facility.
• Record keeping, reporting and data maintenance as required.
• Liaise with County departments and external organizations to complete tasks.
• Manage radio communications for facility events and youth movement.
• Transport youth safely to appointments and activities.
• Respond to emergencies per policy and procedures.
• Ensure safety by enforcing department policies.
