Hamilton County, Tennessee is hiring for two Juvenile Detention Center security officers under general supervision. The role involves supervising detainees, conducting searches, transporting detainees to court and appointments, and maintaining records.

A minimum education of high school diploma with experience or an associate/bachelor in Criminal Justice is required, plus a valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification. Federal NCIC background check and fingerprinting are required.

Competenze

Bachelor's or higher in Criminal Justice or related field required.
Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field required.
High school diploma with at least one year of security or related experience; driver's license required.

Mansioni

Oversees safety and well-being of detainees and maintains order within the facility.
Manages booking and release responsibilities; compiles records and reports.
Transports detainees to court, school, medical appointments, and other trips to the facility.
Dispenses medically-approved medications and conducts searches of individuals and areas.
Performs rotating shifts and maintains compliance with policies and procedures.
