Job summary

The Center for Justice Innovation in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Compliance Specialist to oversee accurate tracking and reporting for the Supervised Release team. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will conduct audits, perform data entry, and provide updates to the Court and defense attorneys.

You will work with the Data Analytics team and senior management to improve program integrity, supporting grants and timely stakeholder reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role in Brooklyn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in a criminal court setting and/or human services, or 3-4 years in criminal justice.
• Strong Excel, organization and writing abilities are required.
• Able to work with diverse groups and communicate with judges and court staff.

Responsibilities

• Audit programs for compliance and conduct internal audits.
• Track participants’ progress per grant requirements.
• Coordinate with court staff to share compliance and case statuses.
• Provide written updates to the court and attorneys on compliance matters.
• Generate daily/weekly memorandums detailing mandates and court dates.
• Collaborate across programs, maintain electronic databases, and support training.
