This jurisdictional position involves conducting in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels, primarily servicing Southeastern MA, Boston, Metro-West Boston, and Rhode Island.
Candidates will be considered for Jurisdictional Consultant I, II, or Specialist levels based on experience.
The Boiler Inspector (Jurisdictional Consultant) develops skills to manage, inspect, evaluate, and consult with clients, ensuring compliance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, National Board rules, jurisdictional laws, and FM Global procedures. Supervision is provided by the Operations Chief Inspector.
The role includes receiving FM Global training to ensure competency and performing inspections at various locations to mitigate hazards. Travel is approximately 30%.
