1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring a Summer Truck Team Member in Athens, AL. You will remove junk, sort items for recycling or donation, and maintain a clean job site while delivering excellent service.

You’ll greet customers, discuss services, and identify opportunities to upsell while working with a small team. A valid driver’s license and physical stamina are required for this role, which offers flexible full- or part-time schedules and summer growth potential.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and dedication to customer service.
• Confidence in discussing services and pricing with customers.
• Strong collaboration to work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Junk removal: lift, carry, load items into the truck safely.
• Sort and recycle or donate items as appropriate.
• Ensure job site is clean after removal and leave a great impression.
• Greet customers, explain services, and answer questions.
• Identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Upsell services to enhance satisfaction and revenue.
• Provide on-site estimates and explain pricing clearly.
• Promote benefits and add-ons where applicable.
• Close deals and foster repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with teammates to plan and execute jobs.
