Job summary

Junk King is seeking Drivers and Junk Removal Technicians in Charlotte, NC to remove items from homes and businesses along with on-site estimates and great customer service. You’ll work as part of a team, manage truck space and route flow, and help customers with their needs.

The role emphasizes physical work, active problem-solving, and a commitment to safety while delivering a positive customer experience. Training is provided to build skills in service, sales, logistics, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be able to independently lift 75 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• No CDL required.
• Must be comfortable working directly with customers.
• Must be dependable, team-oriented, and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Drive or ride in a Junk King truck to customer homes and businesses.
• Safely remove items such as couches, mattresses, furniture, appliances, and household junk.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and help solve their problem.
• Provide on-site estimates and explain pricing clearly.
• Work with your teammate to manage the route, truck space, timing, and job flow.
• Collect payment once the job is complete.
• Represent Junk King with professionalism, energy, and respect.
