Job summary

Q2IMPACT seeks an early-career WPS advisor to join a small, senior team supporting the Joint Staff J5 and DDCTIC. You will work alongside experienced advisors, instructional designers, and analysts with exposure to general officer audiences from your first months on the job.

You will travel to deliver courses, assist with sociocultural analysis, and help prepare reports for Congress and NATO. A Top Secret clearance and a bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum three years of related experience at operational or strategic level.
• Familiarity with DoD/ joint doctrine and security cooperation.
• Ability to present materials to Flag Officers, General Officers, and SES audiences.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS for course delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Joint Staff-certified WPS courses in the National Capital Region and at Combatant Commands.
• Maintain standardized WPS training modules covering PL 115-68, UNSCR 1325, and WPS sociocultural analysis.
• Support the WPS Focal Point network across the Joint Staff and Combatant Commands.
• Contribute research and drafting to sociocultural analysis products for planning, exercises, and security cooperation.
• Assist collection, validation, and analysis of data for annual congressional and NATO reporting.
• Administer course surveys, compile after-action inputs, and draft summary reports.
• Prepare briefing materials for senior military and civilian leadership.
