Job summary

Nongmin Consultancy Services is seeking a junior web developer to join our digital team in a remote Bangladesh-based role. You will build and maintain WordPress sites, customize themes, and support Shopify stores with a focus on secure, scalable web pages.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of hands-on WP and Shopify experience, plus proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and REST APIs. Join a collaborative team and contribute to diverse client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years hands-on experience with WordPress and e-commerce platforms (Shopify).

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize secure, scalable web pages for evolving business needs.
• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress sites with theme customization, page creation, and plugin integration.
• Support Shopify stores including product setup, theme tweaks, and app integrations.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways (Stripe, Paypal, POS).
• Provide ongoing support and updates for one or more web properties.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and debug across browsers and devices.
• Perform routine updates, backups and performance checks.
• Assist with SEO, marketing tool integrations, database management, and analytics tracking.

• Basic PHP For Wordpress Development, Along With Experience In Integrating REST Apis And Payment Gateways Like Stripe, Paypal, And POS Systems.
• Hands-On Experience With Website Optimization (Caching, Page Speed), And Basic Security Best Practices.
• Familiarity With Git For Version Control And Tools Like Github Or Gitlab For Collaboration And Code Management.
