Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Weapons Systems Analyst, Junior, to support our Intelligence Client’s mission sets at Quantico, VA. The role focuses on analyzing foreign and adversarial weapons systems, threat modeling, and providing Red/Blue Force planning input.

You will produce concise analytic reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply structured analytic techniques within DoD standards. This full-time role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for U.S. clearance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates working knowledge of concepts in the labor category.
• Applies IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work semi-independently with oversight.
• Ability to use logic when evaluating multiple sources and synthesize information.
• Proficient in producing analytic reports using Microsoft Office tools.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication; strong grammar.
• Structured research within security and data protocols.
• Recognizes nuances and resolves contradictions in information.
• Uses structured analytic methodologies to examine biases and strengthen arguments.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and operational insights related to foreign and adversarial weapons systems.
• Research and analyze global threat weapon systems and tactics.
• Support joint and service-level exercises by providing Red Force planning input.
• Assist in development of threat laydowns and engagement scenarios.
• Collaborate with Blue Force analysts to assess system vulnerabilities.
• Generate intelligence production in briefings and reports on adversary capabilities and strategic implications.
