GBA is seeking a Civil Engineer I to support planning, design, and delivery of wastewater collection and treatment projects in Austin, TX. You will work with licensed engineers and gain hands-on experience across calculations, modeling, and construction support.

As part of the Wastewater Environment group, you will grow technically and professionally, learning from mentors and collaborating with municipal clients on meaningful infrastructure. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• 0+ years of relevant experience.
• Passed the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam is preferred.
• Completed introductory engineering coursework and some advanced design coursework in areas of desired specialty.

Responsabilités

• Support the planning and design of wastewater collection and treatment system projects.
• Assist with engineering calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support hydraulic and treatment process evaluations and engineering modeling activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Participate in field visits and construction observation activities.
• Learn GBA design standards, engineering best practices, and quality processes.
