Job summary

RainFocus is seeking a Jr. UI Developer to translate designs into high‑quality web experiences for our events and platforms. You will work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, gaining hands-on experience with branding, workflows, and enterprise-grade software development.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of web development experience, a solid CSS/SASS foundation, and eagerness to learn modern frameworks like React and Svelte. Collaboration with a supportive team is a key part of this role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional web development experience or equivalent through bootcamps/internships/portfolio projects.
• Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like SASS.
• Basic understanding of vanilla JavaScript; eager to learn React and Svelte.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive mindset, willing to learn and grow as a developer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining UI components and branding with a focus on design and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and Product Management to learn processes and deliver quality work.
• Write clean HTML, CSS (SASS) and basic JavaScript; exposure to React and Svelte.
• Help troubleshoot, debug, and fix styling issues across browsers and devices.
• Participate in code reviews to align with RainFocus coding standards.
• Support client white-labeling, templates, and basic event workflows.
