The Opportunity:

We're looking for a creative and eager Junior UI Designer to join our dynamic team. You'll work closely with our Senior UI/UX Designer to craft stunning and effective product page wireframes and bring client websites to life within Figma. This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills, leveraging our internal proprietary design system and contributing directly to the success of high-growth Health & Wellness eCommerce brands. What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with the Senior UI/UX Designer to understand project requirements and client goals.
• Quickly and efficiently create product page wireframes in Figma.
• Utilize Blikket's proprietary design system to develop high-fidelity UI designs for client websites and landing pages in Figma.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from the senior design team and stakeholders.
• Prepare and hand off design files to the development team.
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving our design system under guidance.

What We Need From You:

• Figma Proficiency: You must be comfortable and proficient working in Figma, including a strong understanding of auto-layout – this is essential!
• Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, taking direction and incorporating feedback constructively from senior designers and other team members.
• Eagerness to Learn & Grow: A "hungry" attitude and a strong desire to develop your skills as a UI designer within a supportive environment. This is a role we want you to grow into!
• Eye for Design: A natural talent for visual design, understanding principles of layout, typography, color, and interaction.
• Basic UX Understanding: Some knowledge of user experience principles and how UI design impacts usability.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your past work in web and/or app design is required. We want to see your design thinking and execution.
• Graphic Design Background (Bonus): If you have experience or a background in graphic design, that's a definite plus!
