Trilon Group is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer in Columbus, OH to assist with roadway and transportation infrastructure design projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and preferably some internship experience in roadway design. Responsibilities include assisting with design tasks, preparing construction documents, and performing engineering calculations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Internship in roadway or transportation design preferred.
• Ability to follow established design standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of roadway and highway projects.
• Prepare construction documents like plan sets and cross-sections.
• Perform engineering calculations for roadway geometry and drainage.

Skills

Internship or co-op experience in roadway or transportation design

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D

Understanding of basic roadway design principles and civil engineering fundamentals

Knowledge of OpenRoads ORD design software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
