Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in transportation and roadway design and/or construction.
• 0–4 years related engineering experience.
• Self-motivated, works well in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering duties using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D under supervision of the Project Manager.
• Prepare design documents including project reports, quantity calculations, plans production and specifications.
• Build effective working relationships with team members and clients.
• Coordinate with public agencies and attend project meetings under supervision of the Project Manager.
• Perform construction engineering duties including field layout, quantity measurement, record keeping, materials testing, and inspection for WisDOT and local projects.
