Qualifications

• Coaching experience at middle school or high school level is desirable.
• Playing experience in high school and college is preferred.
• Evidence of continued pursuit of coaching education.
• Minimum of 3 references to support character, leadership and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coaches report to the school athletic director and the school principal.
• Be an active positive member of the faculty and teach sound fundamentals.
• Establish and execute offensive and defensive strategies to help athletes succeed.
• Monitor athletes' behavior on court, in class and in the community.
• Work with the athletic director on budget and supply orders and court maintenance.
• Distribute, collect and inventory equipment and maintain communications with parents and community.
