Job summary

Futrend Technology, Inc. in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Junior to Mid Level Front End Developer to help modernize a large enterprise UI.

You will replace JSP/TagLib interfaces with modern, responsive React applications, working closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, business analysts and QA. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in React with TypeScript and strong knowledge of modern hooks and state management.

Qualifications

US Citizenship or Green Card required.
2+ years of hands-on React development experience.
Strong TypeScript skills with interfaces for complex data structures.
Experience with modern React hooks and state management tools (Redux, Context API, TanStack).
Experience building responsive, accessible UI.
Experience with RESTful APIs and front-end integration.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Able to collaborate in a cross-functional engineering team.

Responsibilities

Translate UI functionality and business requirements into modern, responsive React components with parity to the legacy system.
Develop and maintain React-based interfaces to replace JSP/TagLib pages.
Work with backend engineers to integrate React apps with RESTful APIs.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
Ensure UI usability, performance, and accessibility standards.
Collaborate with QA and stakeholders to support testing and defect resolution.
