The role involves working on complex matters involving derivatives and structured products, including documentation, negotiation, and regulatory matters. Ideal candidates will have a strong grounding in ISDA documentation and be prepared to handle matters related to Dodd-Frank protocols and similar regulatory frameworks. This position is offered in a hybrid work environment with a combination of in-office and remote flexibility.

Duties:

1. Draft and negotiate documentation under ISDA Master Agreements (including Schedules, Credit Support Annexes, and Confirmations)
2. Provide counsel on over-the-counter derivatives and related regulatory issues
3. Conduct legal research and provide analysis related to derivatives and structured finance matters
4. Collaborate with team members across departments and offices
5. Communicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and internal business teams
6. Maintain responsibility for the quality and timeliness of deliverables
7. Contribute to strategic discussions and provide business-minded legal solutions
8. Participate in meetings and client calls as needed
9. Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in structured finance and derivatives
• Experience with ISDA documentation and regulatory protocols (e.g., Dodd-Frank)
• Prior exposure to matters handled by top-tier U.S. law firms is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications:

Active bar license in the state of Minnesota
