Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Science, or related discipline
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and security operations concepts
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common protocols
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to interpret technical information and make sound decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts across enterprise infrastructure
• Analyze activity from networks, endpoints, servers, firewalls, and security technologies
• Identify suspicious behavior and decide actions per established procedures
• Escalate incidents to senior analysts and response teams
• Perform log analysis to identify anomalies and threats
• Document investigations and maintain case records
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams on security operations
• Contribute to ongoing monitoring process improvements and playbooks
