Job summary

Home Appliance Care is seeking a motivated Junior Technician to learn the trade by diagnosing and repairing a wide range of home appliances across Northern Virginia and Maryland.

You'll work with experienced technicians, communicate with customers, keep accurate service records, follow safety protocols, and coordinate with our Dispatch team to ensure efficient, high‑quality service.

This role offers hands‑on training, mentorship, and a friendly team environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Junior Technician at Home Appliance Care, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to learn the trade while diagnosing and repairing a wide range of home appliances—including washers, dryers, dishwashers, range ovens, garbage disposals, refrigerators, and freezers.

You’ll communicate directly with customers to understand their concerns, explain repairs clearly, and ensure they feel confident in the work being done. You’ll maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and work performed, while adhering to safety protocols at all times. You’ll also collaborate with our Dispatch team, receiving job assignments through our software, via text, and verbally, working together to streamline processes and deliver efficient, high‑quality service.
