Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Jr. Technical Editor (OBI) to support a Federal Government client. The role involves reviewing intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, and consistency, and ensuring adherence to agency style guides and classification guidance.

The position requires collaboration with authors to improve narrative flow, revise tables and graphics, and ensure proper markings. Availability is contingent on contract award, and security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience analyzing content in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution; substitutions possible with additional experience.

Responsibilities

• Review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, clarity, and consistency.
• Ensure style and format conform to agency publication standards and prescribed vocabularies.
• Revise drafts of tables, tone boxes, and graphics to align with accompanying text.
• Apply proper classification markings per IC guidance.
• Collaborate with authors to improve narrative organization and revisions.
