Job summary

HireNow Staffing is seeking a Junior Tax Associate for a full-time role based in Seattle. You will work with experienced tax professionals on tax planning, compliance, and consulting across federal, state, and local matters.

The position requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance/taxation, strong analytical and communication abilities, and CPA certification progress is preferred. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation or related field.
• Working toward CPA certification is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of tax principles and compliance is required.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using tax preparation software and research databases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax research involving federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare tax returns, schedules, and client documentation with accuracy.
• Assist with tax planning initiatives and strategic consulting projects.
• Support senior tax professionals on client engagements across industries.
• Maintain organized tax work papers and engagement files.
• Monitor tax developments and respond to inquiries in client meetings.
