The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) Space Power Systems Office in Dayton, Ohio, seeks an early-career Systems Engineer to help advance radioisotope power systems and spacecraft power architectures.

Working with sponsors such as NASA, DoD, and DOE, you will participate in systems engineering, digital engineering, hardware integration, testing, and technology maturation from concept to prototype.

Qualificações

• B.S. degree in Systems Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• At least two years of engineering experience.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of radioisotope power systems and spacecraft power architectures.
• Participate in systems engineering, digital engineering, hardware integration, and testing.
• Contribute to technology maturation from concept to prototype demonstration.
• Develop technical breadth across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with sponsors including NASA and DoD.
