Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support NSWCDD through data analysis of Combat System programs. The role involves assessing software performance, reviewing documentation, and developing analysis tools in Python and C++. Travel to test sites is required, with no telework eligibility.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in a STEM field and can obtain at least a Secret clearance; experience with C++, Java, or Python is a plus, along with MBSE tools like Rhapsody or Cameo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or physical science.
• Ability to obtain and maintain at least a Secret level security clearance; active Secret clearance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review current software and related documentation (specs, requirements, interfaces, test documents).
• Assist in research and analysis of existing systems and requirements; prepare documentation to change programs.
• Perform data analysis to support internal and external projects.
• Develop analysis tools: coding, testing, debugging, implementing, documenting data-analysis programs.
• Design basic programs for data-analysis support or enhancements.
• Assist in resolving issues within the AWS and support testing.
• Travel to test sites for Combat System testing; perform root-cause analysis of program anomalies.
• Develop software using Python and C++ to extend data-analysis tool suites.
