Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to provide hands-on IT and systems support within secure enterprise environments. You will work alongside experienced teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain systems, support applications, and ensure work adheres to security requirements.

You will support Windows and Linux workstations, troubleshoot hardware and network connectivity, and help document procedures and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Active CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8140/8570-aligned certification preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows desktop OS and troubleshooting.
• Basic Linux CLI and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Familiarity with command-line troubleshooting tools and PowerShell or Bash.
• Understanding of enterprise authentication and domain-connected systems.
• Ability to follow documentation and established procedures; escalate when needed.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work in a security-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for workstation, hardware, application, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows and Linux workstations and peripherals.
• Perform basic systems administration using established procedures and baselines.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Install and support approved business and engineering applications.
• Diagnose issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Support workstation provisioning, deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain SOPs, troubleshooting docs, and technical work instructions.
• Document work and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Maintain accountability of systems, hardware, and equipment.
• Follow security procedures, access controls, and change management.
• Collaborate with Systems Administrators, Engineers, Cybersecurity, and others to resolve issues.
