Mill Steel Company in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Jr. Systems Administrator to maintain and secure our IT systems across Windows servers, Azure, and cloud services.
You will be the escalation point for the helpdesk and mentor junior technicians while supporting D365, CRM, WMS, and other platforms. Based in Melvindale, MI, this role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s in IT and hands-on experience with Windows Server/AD, Office 365, Entra ID, and basic networking.

As an Jr. Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, networks, and endpoints. You will be the escalation point of support for the helpdesk team and be the subject matter knowledge expert in several areas of information technology.
This individual reports to the Associate Director of Infrastructure and Operations and works closely with a variety of departments throughout the company.
Work is primarily based in an office setting in Melvindale, Michigan.
Work is generally completed on a regularly scheduled basis, however, attendance at meetings or completion of work outside of normal scheduled hours may be required.
Extended periods of concentration and sedentary work are required.
Work is subject to frequent interruptions and normal office noise.
Periodic travel to other Mill Steel facilities (most of which are out of state) will be required
