SCCI is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on applying robust SE processes, defining requirements, and contributing to MBSE efforts for tactical fire control systems.

Ideal candidates are U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance, and have experience with SE across engineering domains. Collaboration and communication are essential as part of IPTs and design reviews.

OverviewSCCI is currently seeking a Junior Systems Engineer (SE) to join our team! This position is expected to apply robust systems engineering processes, working closely with the customer and end-users to develop requirements and to participate in building the systems associated with a tactical fire control system. In this position you will interface with other engineering functional areas (i.e. Software Engineering, Test, Configuration Management, Training, and Safety) and technical personnel from various external organizations to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and develop and document final solutions. The role will also be responsible for participating at Design Reviews, the Systems Engineering Working Group and weekly Integrated Products Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups (WGs), and supporting Product Review Panels (PRPs) and Product Certification Panels (PCPs).
