Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil/Electrical Drafter to join the Substation Engineering Group. You will contribute to accurate, high-quality drawings in support of energy infrastructure projects.

You will prepare sections, plans, electrical one-lines, and schematics for power substation projects, collaborate with engineers and drafters, self-check work, and help advance project delivery within a team-oriented consulting environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong prioritization and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD drafting for sections, plans, electrical one-lines, and schematics for substation projects.
• Support structural, foundation, and electrical drawings under supervision.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafters to correct discrepancies.
• Self-check work for accuracy before submission.
