Job summary

Houdini, Inc. in Fullerton, CA, is seeking a Jr. Photo Editor/Photographer to join the studio team responsible for creating high-quality product images for sales materials, web, ecommerce and packaging.

You will handle editing, lighting, and photographing gifts for wholesale and mass ecommerce accounts on white backgrounds. This role requires 1+ years in commercial photo editing, studio experience, and proficiency with Lightroom and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• 1+ years editing photos for commercial use.
• 1+ years of digital photography, lighting, and software experience.
• 1+ years in a studio/office environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce a high volume of final digital images while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Completes edits, retouches and additional adjustments on digital images to ensure required photographic aesthetics are delivered.
• Ensures images are labelled, organised, stored and archived appropriately upon editing completion.
• Prepares print and digital files based on project specifications.
• Photograph all gifts designed in each stage of development (concept through final) for our wholesale and ecommerce accounts on white backgrounds.
• Assist with coordinating the workload to meet timelines for Wholesale/Mass Ecommerce account photos.
• Support the Design team with photos of new and existing products/components for development and renderings.
• Provide Photography support to all account/projects as needed.
• Maintain photography supplies and arrange for all maintenance of equipment.
