This position involves designing steel structural systems, creating construction documents, and collaborating with various design disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering and some experience in structural engineering design. Qualifications
3+ years of structural engineering design experience.
Experience with advanced technology and industrial clients is preferred.
EIT, PE or SE registration.
Responsibilities
Design steel structural systems for industrial and semiconductor facilities.
Creation of construction documents including drawings and specifications.
Coordination with design team members in mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
Participation in client design review meetings.
Preparation of specifications and reports.
Skills
Understanding of current building codes
Excellent interpersonal skills
Technical writing ability
Organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
