Corbin Consulting Engineers, located in Hillsboro, Oregon, seeks a Structural Engineer to design steel structural systems for industrial and semiconductor facilities. You will contribute to equipment anchorage, seismic design, and construction documentation as part of a multi-discipline team.

Qualifications

• Understanding of current building codes, particularly IBC and local amendments and ASCE7.
• Familiar with common structural materials (steel) and material-specific codes such as ACI and AISC.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
• Excellent technical writing ability.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to learn quickly and grasp new concepts related to engineering and construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and RISA.
• Dedication and punctuality to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Design steel structural systems for industrial and semiconductor facilities, focusing on equipment support and seismic design.
• Create construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with design team members in mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
• Participate in client design review meetings and present design strategies; prepare specifications and reports.
