Corbin Consulting Engineers in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks a Structural Engineer to design steel framing for industrial and semiconductor facilities. You will produce drawings and specifications and coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams. This role offers growth within an employee-owned firm.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of structural design experience, knowledge of IBC/ASCE7, and proficiency with RISA, AutoCAD, and Revit. EIT/PE preferred; ESOP benefits available.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of structural engineering design experience.
• EIT or PE registration preferred.
• Experience with advanced technology and industrial clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design steel structural systems for industrial and semiconductor facilities, focusing on equipment anchorage and seismic design.
• Create construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Participate in client design reviews and present design strategies.
• Prepare specifications and reports.

3+ years structural engineering design experience
