Kleinschmidt Associates is hiring an Entry Level Structural Engineer in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves analysis, design, and field work for hydroelectric, fisheries, and water resources projects.

Hybrid work is offered, with a minimum of three days in-office each week to collaborate with the project team. Required: a BS/BA in Civil Engineering (structural concentration) and knowledge of concrete/steel design, finite element methods, hydraulics, and soil mechanics.

Qualifications

• BS, BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering.
• coursework in structural design of concrete/steel, finite element analysis, hydraulics, soil mechanics.
• Experience with structural modeling software and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and evaluation of concrete and steel structures.
• General civil design on hydroelectric projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team through project lifecycle.
