Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a junior-to-mid-level Structural Engineer in the Indiana area. The role focuses on structural analysis, design support for commercial/industrial projects and collaboration with sales on value engineering and design‑assist tasks.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of structural engineering experience, a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, and are pursuing a PE license. The position offers ESOP, benefits, bonuses, and PE licence support with a hybrid or remote

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT and/or pursuing PE licensure.
• Experience with structural steel design and analysis.
• Façades, curtain wall or metal panel systems experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for new construction projects involving structural steel and metal panel systems.
• Collaborate with sales on value engineering and design‑assist projects; develop practical, cost‑effective solutions.
• Learn company products, systems and engineering processes while supporting project development and resolving technical issues.
• Gradually assume greater responsibility towards a senior structural engineer role, with occasional travel for testing or reviews.
