Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a Structural Designer in Orlando, Florida with up to 4 years of experience.

This role focuses on designing a wide variety of structures, collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams across Florida, with wireless/telecommunications experience a plus. Responsibilities include drafting construction documents, developing models with AutoCAD and RISA-3D, and supporting proposals and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Up to 4 years of structural engineering or design experience (wireless/telecommunications experience a plus).
• E.I.T. certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and wood structures.
• Experience with the RISA Suite (RISA-3D, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection).
• Experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with tnxTower, Enercalc, L-Pile, and Excel is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and detail structural systems using steel, masonry, concrete, and wood.
• Develop construction documents and models using AutoCAD, RISA-3D and related tools.
• Provide support in preparation of proposals, reports, and design concepts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects across Florida.
