Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Princeton, New Jersey office is seeking engineering graduates to join the Structural team in 2027. This is an on-site, non-remote role that offers mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.

Applicants should have an ABET-accredited degree in Civil/Environmental or Structural Engineering by Summer 2027 and be proficient with Revit and Civil 3D, with strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) anticipated by Summer 2027.
• Degree programs in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Working knowledge of Revit and Civil 3D is required.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of vertical structures including high rises and hotels.
• Perform structural calculations and prepare drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on innovative design solutions.
• Utilize structural design software to create accurate models.
• Participate in field inspections and data gathering as needed.
• Support project coordination meetings and documentation for clients.
