Job summary

Baker Commodities Inc. is seeking an accounting-focused professional to manage office operations for the division and to prepare worksheets, reconciliations, and journal entries as needed.

This role reports to the General Manager and the Division Controller, supporting month-end close and various AP/AR duties. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting or Finance and 2–3 years of accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and a solid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent work ethic and willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
• Less than 5% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end closing and other accounting functions.
• Perform AP duties, print checks, upload positive pay files, and share AP registers with related parties.
• Update monthly product codes and generate customer rebates.
• Review reports and transactions with Management for approvals.
• Prepare weekly sales reports.
• Handle ERP transactions and monthly closing procedures.
• Analyze, reconcile and generate inventory reports.
• Prepare journals and worksheets for company transactions.
• Verify vehicle expenses in internal reporting system.
• Produce financial reports from an integrated system.
• Maintain office inventory and support general operations.
