Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation seeks an entry‑level Mission Design & Analysis Engineer I to assist senior engineers in modeling and evaluating spacecraft missions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Typically entry-level 0–2 years of experience
• Basic knowledge of systems design and development principles
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in analysis, modeling, and simulation of mission design and system performance
• Define mission parameters and derive driving mission requirements
• Produce mission modeling data using analytical methods and system-level modeling techniques
• Create constellation and system-of-systems models to evaluate mission performance
• Communicate results to the broader design team and prepare technical documentation
