Job summary

System One is seeking a junior IT Compliance Specialist for a long-term remote opportunity. The role supports SOX ITGC compliance activities and interacts with IT control owners, the compliance team, and auditors to gather evidence and coordinate remediation.

The candidate should have 2–3 years in IT compliance or SOX ITGC and a strong eye for detail, with the ability to work independently while escalating questions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, accounting, business, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of IT compliance, IT audit, SOX ITGC, internal audit, or external audit experience.
• Working knowledge of SOX ITGC concepts and control areas.
• Experience supporting audit requests and control testing.

Responsibilities

• Support the SOX ITGC program across key control areas.
• Assist control testing and evidence collection.
• Work with IT control owners and auditors for documentation and evidence.
• Coordinate with internal/external audit during the SOX cycle and follow up on items.
• Maintain organized SOX documentation, evidence, and testing records.
• Assist in evaluating control evidence for completeness and accuracy.
